Southern Arizona Wing Chun's mISsION
At Southern Arizona Wing Chun Gung Fu our mission is to share our knowledge of this wonderful system without compromising it's principles or integrity. To continue to spread the art throughout the world and to preserve it for future generations, as our teaching father Si-Fu Augustine Fong has done.
Wing Chun Gung Fu is a Southern Chinese martial art and an effective method to develop self defense skills that do not rely on size or brute strength.
The system includes :
- Three empty-hand forms - Siu lim tau, Chum kiu, and Biu Gee.
- One wooden dummy form - Mok Yan Jong
- Two weapons forms - The short butterfly swords (Bot Jaam Do) and the 6-1/2 point long pole (Loc Dim Boon Guan).
- Chi sao (sticky hands) - Chi Sau practice helps to develop the Principles of Wing Chun such as structure, position, distance, timing, power, control, etc.
- Many solo and partner developmental drills.
- Traditional Chinese Lion Dance.
We offer ongoing structured classes. Our goal is to teach self defense skills while improving overall body control and fitness. Classes are challenging and fun both physically and mentally in a safe environment where students learn at their own pace. *Ages 18 and older only unless accompanied by an adult*

Saturday: 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
